From the Couple
Please tell us why you chose the Outer Banks for your wedding.
Having been born and raised on the Outer Banks, I’m passionate about this sweet little sandbar. We chose the Outer Banks for a couple reasons. We knew we wanted to make our wedding day special and intimate. My husband is from the state of Virginia and grew up visiting the Outer Banks often. Some of our favorite memories together were made while vacationing in the Outer Banks. So, we decided to make our best memory here too. And for this, the little town of Manteo was perfect. All pieces came together beautifully. It likely never would have come together so easily if it was not for the community and Manteo being so special and accommodating.
