Outer Banks Wedding Weekend & Expo Returns for its 26th Year in January 2025

Celebrate love and discover the ultimate wedding inspiration at the Outer Banks Wedding Weekend and Expo, coming to downtown Manteo, North Carolina, on Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend in 2025! This premier event invites couples and their wedding planning crew to explore a variety of vendors, services, and venues, offering everything needed to create a dream OBX wedding.

The Outer Banks Wedding Weekend and Expo is designed to connect couples with top-tier wedding professionals, providing an invaluable resource for planning every aspect of their special day. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in multiple events: a Welcome Party, Wedding Expo, and a self-guided Wedding Venue Tour. 

On Friday, January 17th, join wedding vendors and other attendees for a Welcome Party in Manteo at Vista Creek Event Venue, a gorgeous wedding venue nestled along the marsh with views of The Roanoke Sound, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is the ultimate event to kick off the weekend of wedding planning fun with drinks and dancing. You can also redeem your wristband and other items at the Welcome Party to make entry into Saturday’s Expo venues quicker.

The Expo will take place on Saturday, January 18th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in downtown Manteo at two locations, 108 Budleigh and The Waterfront Trellis. These two venues will be filled with all types of local wedding vendors eager to meet with couples. Many  vendors will be offering exclusive booking discounts to Expo attendees. The White Doe Inn will also be open as an exclusive stop for VIP ticket holders. 

The Wedding Tour will take place on Sunday, January 19th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at various participating venues and businesses all throughout the Outer Banks from Carova to Manteo. Many venues will have additional vendors there to meet with couples, giving attendees another opportunity to discuss wedding ideas and tour some of the most stunning venues on the North Carolina coast.
