*The Outer Banks Wedding Association will be cooperating with the latest guidelines put in place by the State of North Carolina and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) regarding COVID-19.
The OBX Wedding Fest is just around the corner! If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, purchase them here. We are so excited to welcome you all to the Outer Banks to meet some of our amazing vendors! The OBX Wedding Fest will take place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on August 29th, 2021 at both Duck Woods Country Club in Southern Shores and at Keeper’s Galley at Haven on the Banks in Nags Head. General Admission tickets are $12 and our OBXWA Box is $50. Read below for answers to some frequently asked questions regarding the show. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email us at hello@obxwa.com.
How do I purchase tickets to the OBX Wedding Fest?
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online here. Tickets can also be purchased upon check-in at either of the venues, however, we suggest purchasing online to save time at check-in.
How do I redeem my ticket(s)?
Once your tickets are purchased, you will receive your digital tickets via email. To redeem, simply pull up the email on your smartphone, and our door staff will scan the barcode to check you in. You will then receive a wristband to enter either of the Fest venues.
When will we find out where Fest vendors will be located?
Vendor assignments will be posted on the OBX Wedding Fest page on August 11th, 2021.
Does it matter which venue we visit first?
Not at all! Once you purchase your ticket, all you have to do is visit one of the venues to receive your wristband, which will grant you access to any of the two Fest venues.
I purchased an OBXWA Box. Do I need to show my ticket?
We will need to scan your emailed digital ticket in order to check you in. After that, your Fest Pass that was included in your box will notify our door staff that you have been admitted. Bring your OBXWA Tote as well to store all of your Fest goodies!
Do I need to bring anything with me to the OBX Wedding Fest?
Just your digital or printed ticket will do! All ticket holders will receive an OBXWA Tote Bag upon entry, which you can use throughout the day to store any promotional items and information from vendors.
How can I prepare before attending the Fest?
A great way to prepare for the Fest is to browse our participating vendors beforehand! You can see them all on our Fest page.
Another great way to come prepared is with premade labels and a ‘wedding only’ email address. That way, when you sign up for giveaways of offers, you can simply stick a label on the entry. Be sure to include your name, hometown, phone number, email address, your wedding date and venue if you already know it.
A wedding only email is also great if you don’t want your personal inbox overflowing with offers and marketing emails.
Does it matter which venue we visit first?
Nope! Check-in is available at both of the venues.
How far apart are the venues?
Duck Woods Country Club is located just across the Wright Memorial Bridge in Southern Shores if you are coming from Virginia or the Currituck area. Located on a golf course, the Duck Woods Country Club ballroom is the perfect place for a rehearsal dinner and reception that is centrally located.
Haven on the Banks in Nags Head is about 14 miles south of Duck Woods Country Club (about a 30 minute drive). Keeper’s Galley at Haven on the Banks is one of the newest venues on the OBX, surrounded by 6 fully-equipped cottages for you and your guests, a tiki bar and pool, The Barn at Keeper’s Galley and more!
Will there be a way to check-in prior?
Early check-in will be available at our office on Saturday, August 28th from 2p.m.-5p.m. Our office is located at 6345 N. Croatan Highway, Suite 102 in Kitty Hawk, right by the Wright Memorial Bridge.
Can I buy an OBXWA Box at the Fest?
You sure can! Not only will we be selling OBXWA Boxes at the Fest, but we will also have for sale our OBX Bride, OBX Groom and Bride Squad T-Shirts and tanks, perfect for your getting ready group shots! *Upon availability
I have to head back home Sunday. Will there be enough time to visit all of the vendors?
Of course! We have added an extra hour to the OBX Wedding Fest to ensure that you will have ample time to visit both of the venues throughout the day.
