Marquenette and Justin’s pier wedding was an ethereal, beachy-boho party. They incorporated natural colors and textures that you’d find by the sea. The addition of local pampas grasses and non-traditional dried bouquets offered a bohemian edge that really drove home the aesthetic they were going for. Marquenette and Justin are clearly a crafty and creative couple — the pair created their table numbers, table arrangements, seating chart, and other signage. We absolutely love the warmth, energy, and happiness captured here!

I’m actually originally from the Outer Banks. I grew up in Manteo my whole life and my family has been on the Outer Banks since the 1800s. Between that and my husband and I spending some time on our first date at Jennette’s Pier, it was a no-brainer on getting married at a place that meant so much to Justin and me. Justin also grew up in Hampton, VA so the OBX wasn’t too far from his family either. It just was the most perfect location for us. – Marquenette
