Jason + Christina
October 12th, 2019

Christina and Jason opted for a coastal feel for their wedding and the marina was the perfect place to do so. Currituck locals, the two chose to plant a unity tree during their ceremony to later plant and watch grow for the years to come. They went with cool tones to match that nautical feel of the marina and a large pavilion reception where their guests could let loose and show off their moves on the dance floor.

Why did you choose the Outer Banks for your wedding?

We live in Currituck County and spend as much time on the Outer Banks as we can, especially in the late summer. We always dreamt of an early fall wedding, which as locals know, is the perfect time to be on the beach. We have family and friends from all over that would be attending, so we knew there would be plenty of accommodations for them here. Knowing all of the fun we have had throughout the years here, we wanted them to share in the joy of such a beautiful place with us on our wedding day. Of course none of it would have been possible without our amazing family, friends, and the venues and vendors throughout the Outer Banks!
