Under soft spring skies and the gentle sound of ocean waves, Hanna and Dane celebrated their love with an unforgettable wedding at the Sanderling Resort. Their day was not only a stunning reflection of their bond but a meaningful gathering of loved ones from across the globe. Friends and family flew in from near and far, creating a joyous reunion.

Set against the lush dune backdrop of the Outer Banks, Hanna and Dane’s ceremony felt like something out of a dream. The couple stood surrounded by their vibrant bridal party—dressed in rich blues and romantic purples—that perfectly complemented the coastal landscape.

But what made their celebration truly unique were the intentional, personal touches woven throughout the day. The bride hand-painted sea glass signs that adorned the venue.

To honor Hanna’s Korean heritage, the couple incorporated a beautiful cultural tradition into the festivities. As a symbol of goof fortune and peace, each guest was invited to take home a carved wooden duck—a nod to the traditional Korean wedding ritual where a pair of wooden ducks signifies a harmonious marriage. It was a touching tribute that added depth and meaning to the celebration.

From heartfelt vows to the festive music shared on the dance floor, every detail of Hanna and Dane’s wedding spoke to who they are as a couple—artistic, thoughtful, and deeply connected to their roots and community.

This wedding is featured in the 2025 issue of Outer Banks Weddings magazine.
