How long has Nags Head Golf Links and Village Beach Club been operating on the Outer Banks and hosting weddings? 

Both clubs have been open for over 20 years.

Tell us more about Nags Head Golf Links and Village Beach Club and where they are located. How would you describe your venue to engaged couples wanting to get married in the Outer Banks? 

We have two venues located in the heart of Nags Head, NC. Both venues are waterfront; Nags Head Golf Links is right on the beautiful Roanoke Sound with breathtaking sunsets and Village Beach Club is our oceanfront venue with a gorgeous Oceanview deck and pool deck area for receptions. Both venues offer indoor backup plans for inclement weather.

What type of weddings can you accommodate? Large? Small? 

Village Beach Club can host up to 200 guests. Nags Head Golf Links can host up to 100 guests, and up to 250 with a tent rental.

What should couples know about Nags Head Golf Links and Village Beach Club before choosing either as their venue? 

We are one of the only companies in the Outer Banks that offers an almost all-inclusive venue with the option of an Oceanfront venue or Sound front venue. On non-peak season dates, you can book either venue to have an oceanfront ceremony with a sound side reception. Gorgeous sunset included!

What makes the Outer Banks special to you?

The Outer Banks is a small tight-knit community which we love! I hear so many stories from clients that have vacationed here for years and now are starting their next chapter of life here together and I find that so special. I absolutely love hearing their childhood vacation stories and helping them take those memories and create new ones.

What trends are you most excited to see in upcoming weddings? 

Fun food and beverage options!! Clients putting more of their budget towards fun stations, like mimosa bars, oyster bars and creative late night snacks!

How is Nags Head Golf Links and Village Beach Club different from other Ceremony & Reception Venues here? 

Both of our venues are almost all-inclusive. Your ceremony and reception fees cover: tables, chairs, linens, setup/breakdown and more. 

We handle all food and beverage with our in-house catering team and can customize any menus to meet your needs. We work with you throughout the process to make sure we are on budget and still checking all of the must have boxes!

What is your favorite part about your job and coordinating weddings? 

Getting to build lasting relationships with our clients and see them come back year after year for beach vacations or golf outings! We have a venue coordinator on site assisting with day-of needs, but this is different from hiring a day-of or full service coordinator. 

Our venue coordinator is responsible for the setup and breakdown of an event, staffing, and all food and beverage operations. Though we do not require you to hire a coordinator, we do highly recommend it, as their full focus that night will be you.

How do you feel being a part of the Outer Banks Wedding Association has benefited Nags Head Golf Links and the Village Beach Club? 

We love it! Not only are they a wonderful local platform to help get our name out there, we get to meet so many other local wedding vendors in the area. It’s really a one-stop shop for all of your OBX wedding needs.
