Erin and Scott wanted a big wedding, but with the intimate feel of a family gathering. Holding their celebration in an event home was the perfect solution and allowed them to spend quality time with those closest to them. Looking back, Erin and Scott rate their day as being a “Perfect Ten”.

Please tell us more about your wedding and what made it special to you.

Our wedding was the most perfect day, in every way! We spent a week in May in Corolla with all of our family and friends, with most renting homes for the entire week and it truly felt like a big family reunion! We were blessed having worked with the dream team of vendors, who made the entire process from planning to day of execution, so seamless and literally stress free! We decided to host our wedding at one of Corolla’s event homes, A Perfect Ten – and it was! We wanted the feel of a family party that a home brings, and it was all that and more! Our vendors created a beautiful space from the ceremony to the reception. We also rented golf carts for the week, which I highly recommend as they became very useful on our wedding day as Scott and I drove with our photographers and videographer in the golf cart to the Currituck Sound to get gorgeous photos after our ceremony on the beach, and also made for a really cool prop as well! We are so happy we chose the Outer Banks for our wedding, and could not think of a better place with such beautiful beaches and surroundings, but one that also creates amazing memories by bringing families together! Also, my daughter was our flower girl so the OBX was the perfect place to make us a family 🙂

Please tell us why you chose the Outer Banks for your wedding.

We chose the Outer Banks for our wedding as we both, separately, had fond memories of family vacations spent in OBX. After these last few years, we wanted a place for our wedding that truly embraced what is most important to us – our family and friends. The Outer Banks was the perfect destination for our wedding where we were able to not only celebrate our wedding day, but it afforded us the opportunity to spend an entire week in what felt like a true family vacation/reunion with all those we love in such beautiful surroundings!
