Real Outer Banks Wedding

Ashley and Alex’s vendors transformed The Currituck Club into a lush, tropical oasis. The grand displays of palm leaves and pink florals contrasted the white linen tablecloths and ceiling drapery. Not only did Ashley and Alex get to catch a sensational sunset, but at the end of the night after their sparkler exit, the Milky Way lit up the night sky for a stellar ending to the most perfect day.

From the Couple

Please tell us more about your wedding and what made it special to you.

We have been together for ten years! Our wedding was initially postponed during the pandemic, so it was great to finally come together with our closest family and friends to celebrate our marriage. The day was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for better weather!

Please tell us why you chose the Outer Banks for your wedding.

Alex spent his summers at his grandparents’ house in Corolla with his family each year. He then brought Ashley there to show her where he made his fondest memories as a child, and she too fell in love with the area. They moved down there for a month after college before starting their careers and hoped to one day have a place of their own. Four years later, they bought a home there, got married nearby, and have created even more memories together with family and friends.
