The Couple

Amanda + Rob

Wedding Date

May 9, 2024

As the couple started to plan their wedding, they had the goal of a beautiful space that allowed for a relaxed and candid environment. Amanda and Rob’s oceanfront event home wedding delivered exactly that! Sheer white linens with gold and dusty blue accents paired with other natural and organic elements made for a totally romantic coastal vibe. Throw in an iconic pink and purple Outer Banks sunset, and their wedding day is totally dreamy.

When it came to where they’d host their wedding, it was a no-brainer to tie the knot in the Outer Banks because of the many wonderful vacations their family has taken to the area. “We wanted our closest family and friends to enjoy the beautiful views, the endless fun and the time spent all together,” the couple said. They also wanted to make sure their son was involved in every aspect, and it made their wedding day all the more special.

“Our sweetheart table was one of my favorite unique touches. We chose an antique, white table with a beautiful light blue couch. It was a perfect match with our style where the three of us could sit. And of course we were incredibly comfortable,” the bride said.

Amanda is a lover or personal touches, so they designed a box of matches as their wedding favor , with special drawings and icons on them that meant the most to the couple: where they met, the bride’s engagement ring, and a map of the Outer Banks on the back so guests could remember and use when they returned home.

This wedding is featured in the 2025 issue of Outer Banks Weddings magazine.
