Amanda and Chris’ fanciful affair had all of the bling and bold decor! The pampas grass and rose lined aisle was such a showstopper, and the reception shined bright with a stunning chandelier lighting up their clear tent throughout the night.

From the Couple
Please tell us more about your wedding and what made it special to you.
Our wedding was a year in the planning with every detail taken into consideration. Then, five days prior to the big day, we got notice that the home we were supposed to have it at was no longer going to be usable.
We had to work with KEES to find a house that would work, and they happened to have only one left for that weekend. Our wedding planner and all of the vendors were so helpful and kind to help us make this last minute transition happen. We wanted a very bohemian, glamorous vibe which Page with Flower Girls OBX nailed with the rose and pampas grass aisle — all the way to the chandelier in the backyard tent. We had OBX Sunset Slush for refreshments during cocktail hour that everyone loved.
The photo booth made for a lot of indoor fun when it started to rain. The attendant had a blast with us helping with cracking jokes and handing out props. Our late night snack was a hit of chicken fingers and fries from Black Pelican Catering. Our photographer (Katie) and videographer did such an amazing job capturing everything from our first look at Bodie Island Lighthouse to the ‘Mr. & Mrs.’ pool floats. We had such an amazing and special day.
Please tell us why you chose the Outer Banks for your wedding.
We chose the Outer Banks for its beautiful beaches and natural surroundings — it feels intimate, while still being within driving distance for us and our guests. We love that we got to turn our wedding day into a wedding vacation and were able to share a long-extended weekend with our friends and loved ones.
